Hello World

The blank page. The first post. My tentative steps have taken too long in bringing me here. I’ll heed Dylan Thomas, and begin at the beginning.

I decided to create a blog for several reasons. I want to improve my writing, I want to deepen my understanding of technical concepts via writing, I want to build my reputation.

My writing will deal with technical topics that interest me, but might also be a resting place for more random thoughts. If it starts getting too muddled I might split it into separate tech and personal blogs, but since it has taken me so long to start one, I’d be foolish to start two.
